"Ini adalah laporan kedua saya terhadap pegawai itu. Saya membuat satu laporan pada Mac tahun ini tetapi tiada tindakan diambil," kata ibu itu kepada FMT selepas membuat laporan kedua di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya, Rabu lepas.
Tukang cuci berusia 39 tahun itu mendakwa bahawa anaknya telah dicabul oleh timbalan pengerusi PIBG di sebuah sekolah di Damansara ketika melakukan pemeriksaan badan anak perempuan pada 21 Mac, tahun ini.
"Pegawai itu datang ke kelas anak perempuan saya dan menuduh dia membawa telefon bimbit ke sekolah. Dia kemudian menggerakkan tangannya pada badan anak saya atas alasan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan badan di hadapan guru."
"Saya terkejut bagaimana seorang lelaki boleh dibenarkan masuk ke kelas seperti itu dan lebih teruk lagi, melakukan pemeriksaan badan pada seorang pelajar perempuan," dakwa ibu berkenaan.

PETALING JAYA: Following months of inaction, a mother of a 16-year-old girl lodged a second police report against a school’s Parent-Teachers’ Association (PIBG) deputy chairman for allegedly molesting her daughter.
She also lodged a report against the police and the school for not taking any action against her claims.
“This is the second report I’m lodging against the official. I lodged one in March this year but no action was taken,” the mother told FMT after lodging the report at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters last Wednesday.
The 39-year-old cleaner alleged that her daughter was molested by the PIBG deputy chairman in a school in Damansara while performing a body check on the daughter on March 21, this year.
“The official came into my daughter’s classroom and accused her of bringing a mobile phone to school. He then ran his hands on my daughter’s body on the pretext of doing a body search in the presence of a teacher.”
“I’m shocked how a man could be allowed to enter the class just like that and worse, and do a body search on a female student,” claimed the distraught mother.
The mother added that her daughter initially related the matter to her grandmother, who subsequently approached the official with the student’s brother for explanation.
However, the meeting did not turn out well and ended up with in a fist fight between the brother and the official.
“As a result, my son and the PIBG official were arrested by the police,” she said, adding the duo were later released unconditionally.
Unhappy with the outcome, the mother said that she went to the school personally to get details of the incident and managed to get written statements from witnesses on what happened to her daughter.
Later, she brought the matter to the school management for action but was told that the school had warned the PIBG official several times of his alleged misconduct but claimed the latter ignored it.
She later lodged a police report on the official at the Mutiara Damansara police station in March but claimed the police took no action.
“Since then, both the headmaster and the investigating officer (police) have refused to pick up my calls,” she said adding that several attempts to meet the school administration also failed.
Trouble at police station
But not everything went well for the mother and daughter while lodging the second police report as the desk officers refused to take the report, claiming the matter was “resolved”.
“They told me that the school had apologised to me and the matter was resolved. But I did not hear any such thing. I don’t want an apology. I want justice for my daughter,” said the mother.
She added that a constable Mohd Fauzi Kifli kept delaying taking down the report, saying there were procedures to follow, such as talking to the IO of the case when the first report was lodged.
“He insisted on me talking to the IO, known as Salasiah on the phone. The latter shouted at me and even said that my daughter will be shamed in court if the case is pursued.
“Salasiah even mocked me, asking if I had the money to get a lawyer to handle the case,” she said tearfully.
However, the desk officers took the second report after Petaling Jaya district police chief Arjunaidi Mohamed intervened.
The mother said that politicians from both sides of the divide were of no help either when she approached them.
“I met both both A Prakash Rao (MIC) and R Sivarasa (PKR), candidates for the Subang parliamentary seat respectively to seek justice for my daughter. But, none of them have helped me to date,” she said.
She urged the authorities to take action against the PIBG official and the school management for denying her daughter justice.
“I also hope my son’s case will be cleared as he has to present himself to the police station once a month,” she added.- FMT
